Below we will explain how to manage the new answering modalities in case of:
1. Locked smartphone
2. Unlocked smartphone
1. How to answer video entry phone calls with locked smartphone
When you receive a video entry phone call, you will see on the display the answering screen: exactly as if you answer an ordinary phone call, you only have to swipe from left to right to accept the call.
Once the call has been accepted the standard iOS screen will appear, offering the various options available for the call. In order to answer the video entry phone call, you can use “Video” or “Comelit” options.**
When you answer, you will be asked to unlock the smartphone using the set method (Face ID, Touch ID or unlock code).
At this point you will be redirected to Comelit App and you will be able to use all the available functions, for example you can see who rang, answer the video entry phone call, open the lock and much more.
** Caution: the video entry phone call is only enabled when the “Video” or “Comelit” option is selected. The time you see on the screen refers to the standard iOS phone call app and it is not related to the duration of the video entry phone call in any way.
2. How to answer video phone calls with unlocked smartphone
When you receive a video entry phone call on the unlocked smartphone, you will see on the display the screen that will allow you to reject or accept the call.
